Ed had a successfull world championships collecting 2 bronze medals.

The first was in the 200m k1 ,won by Mark de Jonge Canada, Ed in 3rd place unable to be split from Saul Craviotta Spain

Th second medal came from the 200m k1 relay with team mates Liam heath,Jon Schofield and Kristian Reeves.

Hannah was also in Moscow with a 3rd in the C Final of the 200m k1 and a sixth in the womens k1 relay.

BOARC has been supporting the film crew filming Wolf Hall in Bradford on Avon 30th June 2014.
The club is denying rumours that it has purchased a new boat
Club Member Nigel was at the World Quadrathlon Championships in Lincs.
Nigel was 11th overall but was fastest in the 50-59 category in a time of 2:44:05.
The winner was Steve King overall World Champion for the 30-39 age category in a time of 2:32:02.
Well done Nigel !
June/July Go Paddle courses
Course 2 (Starting Thursday 12th June 2014)
Duration: 4 week day evenings –June 12th, 19th, 26th and 3rd July.
Cost £40 (cheques made payable to Bradford on Avon Rowing Club).
Time: 6pm start to finish by 8pm
Course 3 (Starting Thursday 17th July 2014)
Duration: 4 week day evenings –July 17th, 24th, 31st and 7th August.

The high water levels appear to have flooded the main boathouse again.
This is a shame as we had only just finished clearing up from Christmas Eve.
